New facilities await you at Port La Napoule: the Marc Pajot Quay, a tribute to one of the greatest French navigators of our time.
On April 14, 2017, in the presence of yachting professionals of every stripe, the new quay for catamarans was officially opened, christened the Marc Pajot Quay. This celebrated mariner, sponsor of this new addition, was at the event and has lent his name to the first quay in the Alpes-Maritimes dedicated to this type of vessel. A major project overseen by Port La Napoule to expand its reception capacity, thereby extending its palette of services. Even the sailing-savvy public will be astounded by this new quay, as it is truly a sight to see.
The new Marc Pajot Quay in Port La Napoule: a new legacy for those who truly love sailing.
Marc Pajot is more than a big-name sponsor – he is an incomparable sailor. We want to tell you how proud we are to have Marc Pajot, true living legend of the seas, as sponsor of this new catamaran quay! So we would like to take a moment to review his incredible accomplishments. For more than 25 years, Marc Pajot has distinguished himself in the world of international yachting with a glorious record:
– Cape Horner at age 20 – 3 world-champion titles – Olympic medalist – Winner of the Route du Rhum solo – Two-time America’s Cup semi-finalist, and much more.
Today, thanks to his vast experience in top competitions and 15 years in yacht brokerage, Marc’s company, Marc Pajot Yachts Selection, specializes in the sale of both classic and modern catamarans, sailboats, and motoryachts over 20 meters in length. It is therefore quite natural that he would accept the tribute paid him in the form of this quay bearing his name. We extend our warmest thanks to Marc and all those who helped this beautiful quay-dream come true!
